More "Water's Edge" pictures
I entered one photo from my recent underwater adventures in Cozumel in the February contest. Here are a couple more:

Siesta

Blue Tang

Crab

Cowfish

Flounder

Food and Shelter

Last Night in Paradise

For a larger group of photos, here is a slide show (which I'll add to as I get more cleaned up):

(The .php script for the slide show - in case you are interested in creating your own - can be found here: http://www.zinkwazi.com/wp/scripts/ )

1. Wow
I really like the crab, the flounder and that last shot! Amazing. I haven't been to Cozumel since '87 or '88. I need to get back.

2. Thanks!
I had to keep chasing the crab around the post - he didn't want to pose for me. I have about 50 shots of a piece of a crab and blown out highlights of the edge of the post he was hiding behind.

As to the flounder - he was posing very nicely, but since I don't wear my reading glasses underwater it was really hard to tell when I had him in the viewfinder. Lots of partial founder pictures too! I'd never seen a flounder before - now that I know what I am looking for I began to see them all over the place, from half dollar size to platter sized.

The last shot - the folks leaving the dock as I showed up with my camera tried to tell me there was no sunset, so I had to prove them wrong. Quite a few nice concrete posts that worked very nicely as makeshift tripods once it got darker and the colors a bit more intense than the early sunset.

4. Thanks!
One of the major advantages of digital - I can take lots and lots of shots and not have to worry about racking up the processing charges!
