Anyone Else Photoblogging?
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 06:07 AM by JCMach1
I am just slowly putting-up my best stuff on my photoblog:

http://cumbus2002.org/photography/archives/

What I want to know is if anyone would like to create a DU Photoblogger Friends RSS Feed... If we do this, we could share all of our latest posts over a single RSS feed which you can then add to your blog.

RE: if there is any interest in this. It would also help if you posted the RSS feed of your blog.

You can even include a FLICKR feed, or the like to share with the DU Photobloggers...

Also, if you post your site, I will add you to my Blogroll...

2. That was easy... clink on the link below to get the info on adding the feed!

Also, you can just post your RSS URL here and I will add it!

FLICKR streams are also candidates as are any streams from other photosites that use RSS feeds...

4. Thats All I needed...
The rest is the only part that can be a little complicated... Now, suppose you want to add the group feed to your Photoblog. The page outlines the various types of code you can use to put this into your website:

http://cumbus2002.org/photography/du-photoblogs/

However, at the simplest level, most blog software will allow you to add an RSS feed to your website coming from outside. You will need the URL of the Feed to get the content into your site somewhere:

with you anymore. How does one go about doing this, can you use photobucket in any capacity?

I have never even thought about having a photoblog. Now that German is over until mid-April, this would give me something fun to do on the side. :)

8. Not sooo creative.... here are the instructions for Photobucket
How do I subscribe to a Photobucket RSS feed?

When you visit a Photobucket account that has public content available, the Feeds button (orange icon) will be available near the lower left hand corner of the page.

There may be multiple RSS icons displayed. A ‘public feed’ is for all public content within the account. An ‘album feed’ is for the specific sub album that you are currently viewing. You may click the desired icon to subscribe to updates to that public account or content.

Note* RSS feeds may not work with all browsers and versions. You will need to check the help supplied with your browser to determine if RSS feeds are supported. RSS feeds are only available for Public Photobucket accounts... http://photobucket.com/faq?catID=70&catSelected=f&topicID=564

You just need to cut and paste the URL for the Photobucket stream you want to share here and I will add you.

9. So, create a photobucket album called DU, or DU share
or something like that and that's where you would put any photos you would like to share. Then, just give me the URL of the RSS feed.

Or, if you want to share everything, just give the URL for your public feed.
