1. Nice, especially the first one.
Flowers are incredible in their perfection, and you have captured that well. Lovely!

5. Thanks jhain!
My wife planted the iris bulbs 3 years ago...this is the first season they have bloomed.

The purple flowers are blossoms on our Redbud tree. I don't know if you have them in New Jersey, but I would be glad to send you a cutting. When they bloom the whole tree is covered with those little jewels...I'll try to remember to take a full shot of ours, as it is in full blossom now. They are very easy to grow, require little water when established, but do require annual pruning if you want them to maintain a nice shape.

3. How could you have bearded irises in bloom already
where the heck do you live, California or something? ;)

I've just had my shoulder repaired, and it's been snowing since I went into the hospital.

All I want to do is go skiing and tomorrow I start my first physio appointment. I might get one more run in this season, Kauerntal Gletscher (Austria) has skiing until June 30th. :)

6. I would answer your question about the bearded irises...
...but I am too busy trying to find a comfortable position on the porch swing in all this balmy, 75* weather we're having :P

And those irises were wet 'cause I've had to start watering my lawn already... :D

Hey, sorry about yer shoulder, though  ...did you wreck it while skiing (as if I have to ask)...

Have you talked to MissHoneychurch lately? She's been seen wandering around the board in red lingerie... :o

Ah, well...think I'll grab a cold one to go along with this nice weather... sorta' springlike...
