The more I use this lens, the more I'm impressed by it . . .
Shot this in my backyard a couple of days ago:

That's been reduced obviously, this is a 100% crop from the same shot:

This lens rocks!

Also from the same day:

A water lily in our pond (I kind of wish I'd used a polarizer for this one)

Other various flower shots from the backyard (one or two of these may have been shot with my 50mm f/1.8, I don't remember which and don't have EXIF viewing software on this computer):

1. According to the EXIF data, that lens would be...
... the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR. Great lens. Not cheap but worth every penny.

The 50mm f/1.8 for $120 is a great buy, too!

2. LOL . . . I knew I'd forgotten something in my original post.
I meant to state which lens I was talking about. . . :P

4. Thanks Maestro - like I said though, I wish I'd used a polarizer on that one
just to get rid of the reflections. . . ah well. I still like it :).

Thanks for the compliment :)

5. Beautiful!
I think the haze of the pond makes the lily pop. Like an intentional artistic decision.

The rest are beautiful too. You have a wonderful backyard.
