the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8

It can be had for $350 or so and is VERY sharp at all apertures and focal lengths.

I'm going to test-drive it this weekend to form a final conclusion, but so far, I'm VERY impressed.

I've got a couple of weeks until the return deadline cuts off, but I think it's a keeper :P

Probably not as good as the Nikon 24-70, but then again, it 1/4 the price.



Not bad, not the best shot I've taken with it, but not bad.

I think some of the water lily shots in another thread of mine were with this lens as well.
