Cherry Blossom Festival Photos
These were taken at the Japanese cultural festival in downtown Denver a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, we had a lot of fun there... my sister and her husband took my nieces. They actually also had some Chinese arts and crafts for the kids to do, so my nieces really liked it.

Was this the Dragon Festival? I went a couple years ago, I think it was in June, by Sloan Lake. I love that first shot, the background really makes the umbrellas stand out. I also really like the last karate shot. You captured the expression on that man's face just right.

I wish I had known, I would have loved to take photos of that. Ya know, we never have gotten together for a photo shoot. We should plan on that one of these fine days.

No, the Dragon Boat Festival is coming up at Sloan Lake, and I'm going with one of the digital photograph meetup groups. You should definitely go! And yes, we do need to get together for a photo shoot. Send me an email and let's actually make some definitive plans!
