Hi,

Here are some pictures from the other day, using a Canon Powershot SD1000. I'm new to photography, so any comments/advice/quibbles are welcome (like, how do I post without the messed up code showing?).

1. You're working too hard

DU uses a modified version of HTML, so all you have to do is insert the image URL into the message window - not the rest of the stuff you need if you were creating a website.

Actually I just cut and paste from photobucket. Next time, I'll be sure to grab the URL.

3. On Photobucket...

You should see 4 different ways to link below each photo in your album.

Use the one labeled "Direct Link" and it's fine with DU. (If you don't see all 4 types of links, you need to edit your user settings to turn them on...by default they should be there, however.)

And...nice photos! Welcome to the sane group on DU. :)
