1. Yikes! Is that fire in that tree?

2. It's a bolt of lightning, hitting a truck about 10 yards behind it.

So close you can see the St. Elmo's fire around the mailbox.

My skin actually tingled a bit.
The rain was horizontal at that point, and I was huddled against
the brick wall of my front porch. I think I am lucky it didnt fry my camera.
