end of the season
I do a lot of work for fruit growers, and usually when the season is over I don't shoot the aftermath, the dregs and the remnants.

Pear leaves -

Heirloom grapes -

Pear orchard -

Heirloom plum still on the tree -

Pear leaves on the ground -

Apple orchard with a few apples still on the tree -

One lone pear still hanging on -

Some shots in the apple orchard -

Cherries -

Holly -

Last of the pumpkins -

Herbs, still green -

Mint -

1. These are beautiful.
I can almost smell the ripe fruit and crackling leaves.

3. the aromas are great
The whole orchard has that cider mill smell now, combined with wet leaves and soil. The flavor of those old grape varieties was just stunning. (I ate all the props after the shoot lol).

2. Lovely shots - makes me feel like autumn and "Thanksgiving" - I especially
like the shots of the apples.

4. The holly shot by itself made this thread worth opening
but of course there are all kinds of other treasures here. Thanks for the reminder of how beautiful this time of year is. I got stuck in the house working for weeks after my sole fall outing, then it got stinking cold and snowy and now it's rainy and dull. Damn.
