I like the way the left wing (well left to me looking at it) seems to almost blend into the wall as though it was coming out from it.

2. I liked the lighting, too...

...that's why I took the picture. :) The sunlight comes in through the north window of my office at that angle at about 9:30-10:00 p.m. this time of year, and it hits that angel just right. It looks almost supernatural.
