3. Thanks,
I already entered - these are the ones that didn't quite make the family cut, but would feel neglected if they didn't get to show off a bit :D

4. I couldn't quite figure out what it looked like...
Other than cool, and kind of 3D. It will be added to my notecard collections.

5. How did you ever decide?
I posted an entry, but I have no idea why or how. Just did it. I really like the one you picked. It adds a different perspective to the mix.

I had thought about this one, but decided against it.

I would like to have some Exhibition Photographs for the gallery. Haven't figured out how to go about asking everyone, since it seems that everyone has several excellent wannabee photos. Maybe I'll start a thread ..... but wait till the contest entries are filled so no one confuses it with the contest submission thread.

6. My daughter narrowed the field
I picked out a dozen or so, and had her tell me which ones she liked. My spouse had looked at some of them the day before. That narrowed it down to three. I liked the second digitalis (above), but on of the shadows was a bit sharp for my taste, and I decided the petunia was just a bit too wild.

This decision was easy - I'm doing my first mini-exhibition in 2 weeks and I have to narrow all my photographs down to 2 large or 2-4 small...

Your flower is quite fantastic, but I think you made the right choice with "June Bride."

For what it is worth, you have my permission to use move any photos I post in this forum to galleries associated with DU.

7. I too asked for help from family and friends
Which is how I came to select June Bride. Had about 4 snapshots emerge as favorites. One friend, who picked something else as a contest fave, wanted to purchase a 20 x 30 print of the photo above. Now I have a Birthday gift idea for her. :)

You're doing an Exhibition? Like where you put your photographs on a Wall and people view (and/or purchase) them? That's 2 kewl.

I'd love to move your photographs to the galleries, but for whatever reason... I'm getting broken links on your posts.

8. Keep trying ...
My webserver went down for several hours after I posted them, but it seems to be back up now. If you still end up not being able to move them let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Yep, actual exhibition. A week long gathering I go to every year (about 1500 participants) has a gallery for artists to exhibit (and sell) their work. Both my daughter (Feli - stained glass window last month) and I applied and were accepted as exhibitors. (I'll also be selling notecards with the June wannabes and other photos in the gathering store).
