Question about a Vivitar macro lens I have
Old - (I've had it for years) - it is new, unused, Vivitar Macro 1:4x
28-210 mm
f3.5 -f.5.6
What is it good for?

1. That's a fairly wide ranging zoom..
It's not an extreme macro but it would be good for taking images of fairly small objects, butterflies, flowers and so forth at a decent range.. Not a bad all around lens really, it would suffice for most photography as long as light levels aren't really low or you aren't trying to use a high shutter speed.

What camera does it fit?

2. I think it was bought to fit a regular Minlolta. But was never used. If I decided to
go "back there" and do Tri X Pan again like Wanna Jump is talking about, I would consider it good to have.
This way, I might just find a buyer.

Thanks for your answer it brings me closer to what that is all about :)
