Gulls Gone Wild
Along the Florida coast......I pushed my Sony A100 with a Sony 4.5-5.6/75mm-300mm zoom lens as far as I could. Just lookin' for the gull of my dreams.

The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

Wading for the right one to come along.

Yeeoowwwwww......that's cold.

Hey there, lonely gull......

Itchin' for a dip.

Sorry, no can do.

I'm ready for my closeup.

1. These are great,
and I love your captions.

I love taking pictures of gulls -- they're so cooperative, almost like they're waiting for you to photograph them.

2. They were VERY cooperative....
......and situated very close to two concrete docks that loads of people were fishing off of. I had a feeling that they were somewhat used to the interaction with people, as they let me get relatively close to them.

As usual, I appreciate your comments, and it's nice to see that my hosting issues seem to be resolving themselves.

Thanks, again!

6. Thanks....
......I'm just happy that he/she just held it up there long enough for me to snap my shutter.

Needless-to-say, I had never seen that type of pose before.

7. Oh, wow...thank you.....
...I really appreciate your comment.

It's funny, I was thinking earlier, as I was getting them ready to post, how each one had their own distinct "personality." Then I said to myself...."Did I just really think about a seagull's personality?"

So.....you're observation was most-interesting to me, and really made me smile.

Thanks, again!
