Thanks for posting. I love seeing other parts of the country. We don't have rocks here in the delta, and our only island is correctly named Mud Island.
What kind of tree is that?

This is rock country. I'm working on a whole series just of rocks that I'll post someday here.
The tree is a Coast Live Oak. A beautiful tree that was a major source of food for the original Americans.
