I understand that my family pictures have more interest for me than for others; however, my oldest daughter was home from med school at Christmas, so I got a few shots of her and her mom on a visit to The City. I thought my wife's pleasure at having her eldest home came out in this shot.

I think this was more about a need i felt to share a moment that gave me great pleasure with my Photo Group family. I recognize in Kim's expression some of the depth of love and nurturing she has shown both our girls over the last 27 years.

I'm the dad, and I love my family tremendously, and am quite proud of all of them...but I think moms experience it in a different way. :)
