1. Enjoy it while it lasts
Love to see happy barefoot kids. I spent a good 75% of my childhood without shoes.

However, I'm a little concerned that your weather won't last long.

I really like the laughing picture!

3. Follow up: I had a call from the Mom today
I sent a CD with the photos, and 8x10s in b/w to the Mom, and put my phone on the back and asked her to call me to tell me she got them.

In the call she said:
Are you the person who took the photos of my son a few days ago.

You could have knocked me over with a feather.
I had the laughing picture and the crouching picture on my fridge for days, thinking that is such a precious little girl.

That's what can happen I suppose, to the stop your truck, jump out, ask "may I take your picture" photographer.
All the time I felt bad I did not know "her" name.

5. So did she like them?

But yeah, I saw a girl too. And it probably was the hair. Of course I was also lead to believe so by the poster, but there was nothing that made me question it,

6. I thought it was a girl
and you don't mention gender in your first post so can't say you influenced it. I would blame the hair and even the bright yellow t-shirt and the yellow is normally gender neutral. With kids that age it is hard to tell unless they have a gender specific hair cut and clothes or you know them well.

Just proves that whole assume thing.

Did she love the photos a lot? She had to of least like them. They show so much personality and pure joy.

7. She seemed to be just nuts over them !
imagine taking your little one for a walk in the sunshine in a tiny tiny country town, where little unexpected happens except Peyton Place stuff, and a wacko old lady jumps off her truck, asks, follows your kid around for a couple of minutes with a camera, takes your address and leaves.
She probably never expected to see anything tangible from that exchange.

8. Even more she now knows for
sure you are what you said you were. You know she had to of had a doubt or two in there. :)

8x10 are probably already in frames and hanging up so she can show them off to everybody. Least they would be if it were me.
