Sure I'm pissed

Many moons ago I wandered around the couple blocks in Charleston taking pics of doors and gates and other such stuff.

And I was thinking since I can't do the contest I'd flat dazzle you with this stuff. Only problem is - I can't find 'em to save my soul. I swear - you'd have been rendered speechless...

So your stuck with this one - which is way more about shadows. And that renders me - well - pissed.



...but I'll get over it :-)

turns out there really is only one that's semi-worthy. And it was taken on the same day as the shadow pic. Gads!

2. interesting day today

You are pissed, California Peggy is upset. Way more drama than we are used to here!!

Won't this just give you an excuse to go wander around Charleston again, taking pictures?

And, think how frustrating it would have been to be able to enter the contest, and not have found them!! So, if you were going to lose pictures on a subject, it might as well be for the subject you couldn't enter......because, I am just so sure you want to win another contest and organize this again.

I like your picture--definitely reminds me of New Orleans, too.

4. I'm all better now

I was beginning to think I'd just imagined taking them.

I'm pretty sure California Peggy is passed upset and now I'm good.

5. All is good as they say these days. And so is the newly found picture. But to me

the shadow photo is an experience, a drop your jaw type that won't let go. Way past the one you hunted.
Actually, there were a few of those in the doors contest. I had a time with the voting.

And California Peggy is floating on the cloud of our thorough support, I just know it....floating into a win, too. And if not, she won already as it is.

9. Well, hell

I'd be proud to show this one. All those shadows just reinforce the beauty of the wrought iron and the simple fact of a building being 3-dimensional. And damn if the flag doesn't make me sort of gulp a little. That to me is the real subject here.
