Thunderstorm rolling in at dusk
I just don't remember sunsets being this spectacular when I was growing up in Massachusetts. Here in Colorado, I see this sort of thing almost nightly from my patio. Nobody can paint like Mother Nature!

1. Colorado has great afternoon storms...
I remember that from my youth. Do you get hailed on often?

4. I haven't had hail worse than I saw in New England.

I'm glad I have my covered parking spot, though. I've seen some nasty hail footage not far away on the local news.

I get some wicked lightning here, though. I've seen the clouds start to swirl right above my house in a storm that spun many funnel clouds just south of me, and some nasty tornados on the plains. THAT was scary!

I love clouds. Always have since I was a kid. Those are beautiful.

6. It was last night.
Though we had severe thunderstorms and hail in the area, and some flash flood warnings.

The one the night before was AMAZING. I still have to do a make up assignment from "Sunset in DU Land".
