1. So delicate!
You did such a great job capturing all the delicate colors. Excellent!

2. You came through with another one. YES. And it reaches
out and grabs me. That's a wonderfully perfect capture. Looks like the center got hit by a little tiny lawnmower.
Keep up sharing with us, traveller.

4. That durn thing was in a pond about 12 feet away with all this grassy stuff
that's the fuzzy things you see on the left side.

5. 12 feet away? What type of lens
were you using. And (LOL) what fuzzy thing on the left are you talking about. I only see a leaf.

It's a super great shot. I think I'm going out to the marsh and see what I can come up with. *sigh* I'm sure not as great as this.

7. Nikon 18-200 at 170 mm. I wanted to crop but...
I'm not that good w/PS etc. and didn't really know how to get the leaf out w/o cutting off the flower.

If you look on the leftmost flower petal you'll see a fuzzy X where the grass things crossed. Very faint.

8. First off, my apologies.
I seem to not know my left from my right.

That said, I do like the boldish leaf on the left (and yes I mean left) and the fuzzy x foliage on the right. They just seem to frame the delicate flower. Now keep in mind that his is my humble opinion, but I truly like this shot.

6. Now that I look at it again
if it were mine, I'd get rid of the leaf at the right side of the pic. Since everything else around it isn't in focus, it kind of disrupts the photo, makes it look like an artificially cropped border until your eyes focus on it directly.
