Suggestions for August Photo Contest.

Might as well get this thing rolling since I'm only an occasional lurker and poster. I don't want to miss any deadlines or anything.

Are there themes from the past that weren't chosen but everyone was like, "Maybe next time?" Or any new ones folks want to explore?

9. It's not real hot here either.

June and early July were much, much warmer. We've had rain for about a week or 10 days, and it's a bit on the cool side. I can't complain though after the fabulous summer we've had.

13. Well, in Sarah's defense

(I hate it when I have to say that) Fairbanks sometimes gets as cold as -65 degrees in the winter and 88 in the summer, so in reality, that is about a 150-degree swing. Her flowery language kind of hid the point she was trying to make, though. Trying to be too poetic, I guess. William Shatner's got it right.

I thought I posted that suggestion yesterday, now i can't find it. Must have "clicked" wrong.

Now that the dog food thief has been paraded to the win, we don't have to worry about that for competition.

that I just opened the front door and the turtle was sitting in the empty dog food bowl with it half tipped, crawling out of it. I came back in and got it a piece of food which it happily took and headed on its merry way, stopping about six feet away to eat it and then sauntered off again. :rofl:

For some, this might be too close to the "Strangers" theme of a couple of months ago.
