So that's what hiking in Italy can look like
My friends hiked to the top of the mountain of Subasio, looking down on the village of Collopino.
I suspect this is in Umbria.

(just in case you missed me I thought I would post one of theirs again, this may be it, they are coming home Halloween. Don't miss me too much, I'll catch up on my work and return)
:)

1. Slowly but surely
You are talking me into getting an IPhone. I'm a bit in the dark ages here--my cell only does phone and messages, though I rarely use that latter feature.

Anyway, this is very quaint and hilly. This is one of my favorite scenes--quaint little town from the top of a hill. Maybe in Vermont I saw this type thing once after a hike......but this one definitely looks European.

2. I want to first tell you what he has is a blackberry. Then I want
to tell you my son and grandson have iphones and the photos are awesome (well, they are to me and them)

Then let me say that it spoke massively to me as well, this picture, and the one of them then being inside the town.

Calabria, in the South of Italy, is a place that calls me very loudly. I have a book with photographs of the small towns and the landscapes, and if I had not needed to live the life I did I would have been there with my easel and my paints decades ago.

The places there look a lot like this photo.
I think the call to me must be Karmic. Just like some other places don't call me at all....
