I think number 13 might be of special interest to Blue_in_AK and make us all thankful for digital.

2. these are great
thanks, CC!

To me, there is something so sad about photographs locked up in a vault, away from where they can be seen...I know it keeps them safe, but still... It's nice to see these.

How are you, btw? Haven't seen you in awhile. :hi:

3. I'm around. Just been busy.
I lost my old computer and now have a new one. Spend a lot of computer time hunting up old programs and installing after I figure out what I really miss. Also working on wedding pics from my nephew's wedding and putting together a book for them. Since it is my gift to them I get to do whatever I want so having fun with it. Next I start tearing apart rooms to fix them up in this house. I am over a year behind on it. sigh

:hi:

On the vault, it is a shame they have to hide them but I am so glad they did. Now that we have digital they can be scanned and shown while still preserving them. I love old photos and the glimpse into our past they provide. It breaks my heart when I see yard sales or estate sales and all the family photos are there being sold like junk.

4. Indeed.
I am ALWAYS grateful for digital. I wouldn't even be taking pictures if I had had to buy all that film.
