Promises kept - Revisiting Lucas the fish catching Dog
I had promised the parents of the red headed girl who swam with the Dolphins that I would send them the pictures, if they don't mind my making a fool of myself taking them.
I did send them, and they were really happy.

Now comes a fulfillment of the same promise to the "parents" of Lucas the fish catching dog.

I thought I would post them to remind you of him, and there are a couple of shots of those parents, as well as a bird I liked.... and some water.... a simple sunset......
Enjoy.

1. Wonderful!
Those "parents" look like the nicest people in the world - the denizens of Key West I remember from long ago.

I want that life - Lucas's life. To be able to concentrate like that - what a gift.

Those pictures are beautiful, Mira. Just beautiful.

Thank you......................................

2. Thanks Tangerine, those parents are incredibly nice for real. Thanks for
your kind words, and now, if you like, look again I posted a few pictures that invite you to fly with me.

3. What a great looking dog!
Has the "blocky" head and body of the English breed of Goldens.
You KNOW I could stare at him all day.
His owners look like cool and mellow folks, too.
did Lucas EVER actually get out of the water?????
Mr. D. enjoyed the pics also and even Galen the Golden had a quick look.

Thank you for posting such a perfect pic of dogdom.:hi:

4. Great pics!!
So, when he caught a fish he ate it? Did you ever get a picture of him in the act of doing that?

Now I am in the mood for a nice beachy vacation. Thanks!

5. I'll break the group prime directive
and describe these as "stunning" because they stunned me. Brava!

6. Thanks, Jeff but you know it was right in front of me and all I had to do
is push a button.
I want to say one more time, just between us, that the flight down was 10 times as gorgeous. It was a peak life experience.
And the plane was so small that EVERYTHING was under the plane in the hold (4-5 passengers) including my camera case with the spare battery and I could not take a single photo, because all my camera did was blink "dead".
Uncharacteristically I did not curse the situation, but celebrated it, because nothing could interrupt my once in a lifetime experience and I recognized that it was under way.
It would have been the perfect time to die (since I don't fear death anyway), that is how beautiful it was.

Thanks for your kind comments, on my other thread as well, and just in case you did not see the little red headed girl I want you to see her. The photos don't set the world on fire, but the event, her emotion and her hair sure do.
