of posting my friends' European adventure pictures, but you have to see this one.
It's too gorgeous not to show you.
He says these falls were a popular stop in the 19th century by Romantics doing the "Grand tour" e.g. Lord Byron.
Marmora cascades in Umbria / Italy

and then while I posted the first this one came in with a notation "Italian drivers suck"
does anyone see a car here?

1. My dear Mira!
These are so wonderful...

They almost look like paintings, they're so softly focused.

And as for the car...

Is that it in the second pic, over next to that single stream coming down?

I tried to see if it existed in the first pic, but it's in shadow, and I couldn't see...

Anyway, keep posting these!

I'm enjoying them so much...

:hi:

2. The comment about the car was a feeble joke but
now that you say it see something there...
Thanks for the feedback that you have liked them. These guys are coming home for Halloween. So we are closing in on the end of those lovely shots that look like oils.

4. I don't know, WannaJump, but I have this sneaking suspicion you are making
fun of me. Are you?
You know well these are photos that are sent by blackberry, and that there have been folks who have said they enjoyed the flat impressionistic quality, and also the views they don't see every day.

I am an amateur with a couple of cameras, I don't know what you mean in your comments, so I hope that it is all good.

7. It's a photograph, I have a couple of friends who are touring
Germany-Switzerland-Northern Italy.
One of them takes photos and sends me several a day from his blackberry. I have on and off posted some here, and the response has been how much the flat quality of the depth of field makes them look like paintings.
Here is one that came in a few min ago - a town square of a little town in northern Umbria.
