I just ordered a Lensbaby Composer, has anyone else fiddled around with one?

1. The late great F. Gordon used to post Lensbaby pix here,

but sadly he got tombstoned during the primaries last year. He got some really cool effects with them.

I've never tried one but after looking up some info on it, it looks like it could be a fun lens to play with. Unfortunately for me, it's a bit more than I'm willing to spend, especially since I'm currently trying to save up some cash to get the upcoming Sony low-light camera (the DSC-WX1).

Looks like the Lensbaby promises to be a lot of fun. I really like the second image. The trees really bring home the effect.

I'm looking forward to the Lensbaby Photo Safari in Central Park at the end of the month, till then I'll be doing a whole lot of experimenting going back to familiar locations and trying a new twist on old subjects.
