A Cozy Night:
First fire in the fireplace. Not the best quality, but what the heck?

Covered up the plants and brought in the flowers. Sounds like it'll be a little nippy tonight.

2. Reminds me of...
Seeing the fireplace reminds me of something my sister told me when she moved to the US. She mentioned that when she was looking at places to live, quite a few of the places she looked at had fireplaces. This might not seem unusual but she was moving to Tucson. I remember thinking a combination of "WTF?", "Does it even get cold enough for a fireplace?", and "Why are there so many fireplaces in a city without much wood nearby?"
That being said, the fireplace does look cozy.
