Photograph question :-)
Okay, I realize that this is a total long shot, but I thought I would try anyway:

About 10 to 12 years ago a magazine (and I can't remember which one) celebrated John Singer Sargent's portrait work with a story and photographs that paid homage to his style, using the descendants from the people in his portraits as subjects. I've been wracking my brain trying to remember more details and going crazy trying to find some hint of it online, and I finally thought, well maybe someone else saw this photo essay and remembers more about it.

So anyway, has anyone seen this? Thanks in advance!

The pictures are featured in his book Portraits, which is probably out of print.

7. You know it really is a shame
that he died so young and that there is such limited accessibility to his photographs on the web. I wish that there would be a full on retrospective of his work.
