Going WIDE and TALL (minor dialup warning)
Was playing around a little bit yesterday with one of those things that attaches to a camera. Not sure what it is called. Learning limits... best way to "frame" and all the fotopoop stuff. Think I found the perfect thing that attaches to camera for me. Produces some waaaay funky effects and perspectives.

First... I was about 4 inches from the rock when I shot. Second. Horrible day for snapshots...top over-exposed.. mucho vignette (bad filter maybe. Don't know) but you get the idea hopefully. Oh, and check it out. There's Water in these snapshots.
:woohoo:

I didn't compress these for dialup. Sorry.
:spank:

2. Thanks Blue'
I'm not even close to you and flow' (ConsAreLiars goes without saying) for nature/landscape shots.

But....maybe one of these days I'll get lucky.

The real perty stuff is in the Mountains. Going there next week for three days of snapshots and relaxation. Need some of that relaxation stuff right now. :P

5. I'm a bit confused...
What is this "perfect thing that attaches to camera?"

Nice photos, BTW!

6. Got a new ultra wide angle lens

I just posted a couple of "funky" snapshots. When I get around to it I'll post some landscape shots I took. While I enjoy the unique perspectives and depth you can get on closeup shots.... the landscape shots are amazing. Pretty decent lens. Full Frame landscape shots with virtually no image distortion..goes very wide. Goes down to 10mm (roughly 16mm conversion to a standard 35mm film camera)

I'm still getting use to it. Actually... I'm still getting use to quite a few things.

It's late... I'm zoned out. Hope this post makes sense.
:silly:

Edit: I was being an evasive asshole by referring to the lens as "something that attaches to camera". Didn't want to make a big deal about what it was exactly... but since you asked.
