They grow up too fast...
kids that is. Seeing The Straight Story's thread about his/her daughter got me thinking of my own.

5 years ago and precious

Last week and still precious, but she needs to stop growing so quickly.

And don't even get me started on my son. He's two years behind his sis, but already thinks he is a teenager!

1. My little ones are all grown up...
...but here are my goofball grandsons this past Christmas. They're now 6 and 3.

5. Great thing about kids
is it is hard to take bad shots of em :)

My daughter and wife flew out today for two weeks, going to grandma's to visit (California). Broke my heart :( my daughter was crying earlier in the day and wanted to stay home with daddy and go to work with me. Finally she got excited about going to see her nana and aunt (and they are going to disneyland too). After I dropped them off I came home, cried, had a beer, and tried not to look at the dolls sitting around she likes to play with.

I am feeling better now, but still down.

Kids - they are amazing. What they do to the heart is hard to describe.
