2. The park where that was taken has a great setup for concert photography

You can go in the morning of the concert and set up a blanket/low back beach chairs right up next to the stage. Nobody will touch them until showtime. If you're late, people might push them aside a little, but you'll always have your seat when you get there.

It works out great :).
