In Memorium
of my DSC-H2, anyway. The final shot taken before the Sony breathed its last breath. Hint: some cameras stop breathing after being submerged in semi-saltwater. :o

:D

2. I hope my last breath
is taken while I gaze at something I love.

That shot is a fitting tribute to a life well led.

3. I absolutely love this picture!
Just adorable.

Semi salt water, eh?

I gave my Kodak pocket camera to my grandson to look at and then he fell in the pool. It took a week or so drying out but it seems to work now.....although it needed a new battery anyway, and the new one doesn't seem to tolerate being overcharged. Now it works except for awhile after I charge it.

4. Sorry you lost your camera, it served you very very well. I know you are grateful
these two, baby and babe, will be around for hopefully a long long time.

This is a heart rending photo.

5. Well, it went out on a high note at least.
Are you sure it's a goner? Might just need to dry out completely and then get a good cleaning.

10. Well, I hoped that would do it, but our camera guy
said it would cost more to fix than it was worth. :(

I am finding that the Canon SX200 IS produces more satisfactory photos as I learn to use it (my "Flower + Ant" was an improvement) but I really liked the feel of the Sony in my hands; plus, it produced some decent pictures.

6. It must have died of cuteness overload
Maybe it can be fixed? Although, saltwater ... maybe not.

8. No, no, trust me on this one...
the Sony demonstrated its aversion to being submerged, and its inability to swim well; it did, however, do a sort of half-submerged back float. :(

9. Did you try...
Did you try any Camera Photo Resuscitation? You know, CPR?
