1. I voted for 4 because it sucked me in the most. :^) I love the colors and the shape.

2. Thanks!
I appreciate your vote and feedback. My favorites are one and three, but I think that may be very subjective. I love my park, and my grandson and I had such fun on the fourth of July.

3. I second Green Party Voter
"sucked me in the most".......ding, ding, ding.

All of them are really lovely, though.

I get emotionally attached to parks, too. And I do like that arch!

4. My favorite is the Fourth of July
It really grabbed me and I liked the mystique of the image of your grandson as he emerges only when my eye sought more detail and explanation. I think it excels over the others because, as lovely and beautiful as they are, they rely too much on someone else's artistry (the sign maker). Do you know what I mean? I like the first one too but there is something about the contrast -- did you use a flash? I'd like to see it rendered in a richer, more striking black and white using ambient light.

5. Thanks for coming through for me, I'm glad you took the time to respond.
I have floundered with this contest, and it shows. I was surprised that out of 125 looks only 10 bothered to even vote, so I gave up on all of those photos.
No - there was no flash, just a street light at the park.
I wholeheartedly agree with you about the signs in Vegas, and had it gotten any noticeable response I would have used the smokey 4th of July shot.

8. Thank you for your sentiment
I don't think it'll fare so well with thw quality of the competition. Maybe after I've been here a while I'll have listened and learned enough to come closer to the level of quality that those regulars here consistently produce.
