Going for the hand-tinted postcard look

Edited to add: I obviously jinked the levels around in this shot; however, I downloaded the free trial of Adobe Lightroom2, and I am really impressed by how well its developing functions work compared to my 5 year old Microsoft program. For one thing, it appears to allow a much higher dpi on resizing, as compared to the Microsoft DigitalImagePro 10: 213 at 800x600, as opposed to high 30's-low 40's in the microsoft program. And, for another thing, it's not Microsoft...

That is, if I am interpreting these things correctly; always a sketchy bet... :D

1. Love the look!
The moss stands out all the more from being desaturated. Good choice.

2. Thanks, Celebration! I think I'm wrong about the dpi thing, though...
thinking about it this afternoon, and it seems intuitively wrong.

Still like Lightroom2's free 30-day trial thing though. :D
