These are a few of my favorite shots...
(excluding the hundreds of pix of the grandkids, of course)

Not a poll, I'm just trying to decide.

1. 'Resting on the Ridge' is the best one, IMHO
They're all great, though. I guess I'm wishing for blue skies and green grass!

2. You have a tough choice ahead of you Blue.
I couldn't pick just one.

Is that Denali in that second shot? It's gorgeous.

3. Yes, that's Denali.
I was lucky enough to get that shot last March when we went up to Fairbanks for the ice sculptures. It's always a great day when you can see the mountain.

4. After viewing these I had to put on a sweater!
Wow, these are all great! I am drawn to the photo of the (Iditarod?) musher (is that what you call them? I'm for La La Land, I don't know these things!). The girl in the lower left adds a very special element to the whole shot. Pick one? Glad it's not up to me -- couldn't do it!

5. That's why I liked that shot, too.
That's Lance Mackey who has won three straight Iditarod championships. A wonderful person, as well. http://www.mackeyscomebackkennel.com/About.htm

6. IMPOSSIBLE task without the "direction" of more of a theme
Splendid photography, so many subjects, favorites for the contest would be anything highly specialized to you and your part of the country.
Lance, that man, and the adoring girl - priceless.

7. Can't help ya, ma'am. They're all great.
But if I had your body of work to draw from, I'd go with #39 from your Nome set, though I love #104, which you've included here.

9. Way cold, but that's part of the fascination somehow.
Anyhow, you're lucky that the contest theme isn't "JeffR's personal favorite shot by each contest entrant."
