1. Ooh! I like that top one better in black and white!

As usual, these are great, Adsos. That second one could be a Stephen King cover. :scared:

I really love the barge shots, too. The bottom one in particular made me a little nostalgic for the Jersey side of the Hudson by Manhattan. I think the black and white with the low bridge and the big NY on the side all invoked a childhood memory from the opposite Coast. Nicely done! :)

2. Well thankyou, intheflow! Nice to be able to spark a pleasant memory
I'll be taking my camera back with me to visit my eldest daughter in Philly for three weeks. Leaving early January and be back at the onset of February.

So...I won't be spamming the board for awhile... :hide:

Beth is in San Diego, stopping over for a couple weeks en route to Philly; Kendall leaves us to go back to college tomorrow, so, our lives will be a bit poorer after a great holiday with the girls. :(

Hope your New Years is a great one! :toast:

4. Agreed; I really like the effect in certain situations
I'm spending time out at the forts/bunkers in the GGNRA, trying to come up with some kind of collection of black & white shots; the place lends itself to that, and heavy desaturation. :hi:

5. I found Christmas shots don't have to be in color to be festive.
