Walkin' the dog
We tried to wear the dog out on the Coastal Trail today, but she was still raring to go after a couple of miles. I wish I had half her energy

Come ON...!!

Foraker and McKinley looked beautiful in the alpenglow

And just for fun, the dog AND the cat. Yuuko is saying, "Don't get too close to my daddy." Sugar is saying, "Why do I have to put up with this little shit ... soo." :)

1. Sugar has a definite opinion about something there
I like these shot, Blue. All natural; and the mountains are beautiful.

I'm hoping my shots can eventually feel as natural, rather than contrived.

2. What happens is
every time Sugar gets up close to Jim, Yuuko has to fit herself right in between them. Then she'll lick Sugar's face and ears to try and make up for being such an attention hound, but there's no way she'll give up her spot. She's so jealous.

3. The expressions on their faces in the last one are priceless.
Looks like your rainy spell is well and truly over, Blue.

4. Yes, we're definitely back in the deepfreeze.
NOTHING like last year at this time, though, thank goodness. I kind of like it when the temps are in the teens, but that 20 below stuff is a little too cold even for my taste.

Remember this?
