My last shot of 2009 & first of 2010
The New Year's Blue Moon rising over Cherry Creek Reservoir. Taken about 15 minutes past sunset and not nearly as clear as I'd have liked it, but it was freakin' COLD and I got too impatient to fiddle around with settings. (Not to mention dread of having to take off my gloves!)

And the first of the New Year? Here' a photo of the condo I'll be moving into at the end of January, one half of a renovated 1912 duplex.

3. It's a weird little place.
Here's the view form the front compliments of google earth:

My unit is on the right, but my garage space is on the left. It probably used to have a little grecian column porch on the front like others in the neighborhood, one in front of each house, but someone removed that and added these strange entry hall spaces in probably the 70's. About the same time they laid that kitchen floor.

5. Thanks!
It's very tiny compared to where I live now, and the most urban place I'll ever have lived in the most densely populated neighborhood in Denver (which is kind of freaking this country girl out), but I won't have to share my space with housemates any more so it will be bliss! I'm wondering how Bear will take to it, as he's always been a suburban/country dog, but there's a small yard for him, and I'm having a dog door put in so I think it'll all be good.

I'm really loving the thought of no more housemates! :bounce:
