The rules say they can recruit someone to run the next contest. So, as long as someone is willing to shoulder the duties for them, there shouldn't be a problem.

...as the one person in the finals who might find themselves in that situation happens to have a family member with more than the requisite number of posts, and could simply use that account for posting the contest.
