Or is that a crocodile peeking out from the snow cover?

4. D'oh!
The Captain Hook irony hadn't even occurred to me. I don't know how I even manage to tie my shoes.

5. It was, but the wind has been down so the discomfort factor is too.
Bonus, it was a beautiful sunny afternoon when I took this and the shadows were really alive with color.

7. I agree that those colors compliment each other wonderfully.
Can't speak to the weather; it's been in the 40's, misty, gray here. I'm heded for something more like your weather on Tuesday. I've been to Valley Forge and Trenton during Summer, but this will be my first time there during conditions something akin to those in which the battles, etc., were fought (although I don't suppose the Delaware River will be choked up with ice flows).

Really nice work, as always, Jeff. :)

8. Hope the weather permits you to get lots of pics.
And that you won't try crossing the Delaware standing up in an open boat, ice or not.

3. Great shot!
Although he looks a bit to happy, given he's down a hand.

6. Thanks, HappyCynic
I think maybe the poor guy's smile was simply frozen in place.

11. It was quite traumatic for him. He's been in therapy and on
zoloft for the past 12 years. He's improving, but he still has this fixation on death.
