but seeing the proof anew was nice.

8. Haven't been in a few years,
but hope to have a chance soon. LOVE IT, esp around holiday time.

11. Some nice weather for photo hunting recently too
courtesy, I guess, of global climate change.

2. Did you forget all your troubles?
Forget all your care?

No finer place for sure........

You sure nailed it!! Could have been a song title entry and look at all those signs. Anyway, I feel all vibrant and night lifey now and I am sitting at a trailer on the river, with dial up, thank you!!

So glad I clicked on this despite my dialup! Thank you.

Oh, I think it is too cool that there looks to be a big Sears store in the middle of this. Our downtown has virtually no retail other than tourist type stuff. Love the drummer, with the blurry guy in the shot. He must be in a hurry!!

9. I was actually rushed to get to the package store and home
but yeah, for a while there I forgot all kinds of stuff and pointed the camera at the circus.

10. Thank you! A friend just came through on his way back from Winnipeg to Ottawa
and commented casually to a table of friends, "It was -30," and a chorus of voices muttered, "So no big deal then." Here it's been clement and conducive to wandering around taking pictures. Mid-winter bliss.

4. Great shots!
And many potential entries if Signs is the theme.

12. I was trying to think strategically.
So I'll be scrambling when the chosen theme is Still Life!

13. I wouldn't be surprised
but can't personally vouch for it.

14. If you can hear the Deli before seeing it, chances are good their Babka
is worth the hearing loss.

16. Dundas Square, Toronto
It started as a cheesy Times Square knock-off, but it's veered off into Bladerunner territory.

17. Wow, your downtown is really flashy.
These are great shots. I really like the black and whites.

18. Some of the LCD screens are so bright they leave you half-blind.
It's a very jarring space, but a good venue for night shots.
