3. Well, I happen to like the overall effect. There the blown-out sky, combined with

the fog/mist looks vaguely menacing.

4. That would make a strong entry for the Winter Seasonal contest.

Other than those riveting clouds in the water, I think my favorite thing here is the smeary look of the patches of blue at top right. The blown-out sky added a fine abstract watercolor flourish to the image.
