I bet it would be neat to print on some fine art, high rag content photo paper.

3. Very nice work.
This kind of processing doesn't work on any photo, but it works just fine on this one. I like the original too, though, where the mountains are revealed as mountains.

Photoshop. The manual assumes you know something about the software. It's a bit overwhelming when the workstation first opens up. So many things! I have been just fooling around but did find certain photos and certain Photoshop filters work well together. Thank for the positive encouragement.

Photoshop is daunting at first, but it lends itself to experimentation. It's the ultimate digital playpen.

I do agree that the mountains need more definition. I wonder how it would look if they were kept more normal, but not entirely, since they are so far in the background?

Have you looked at the Photoshop Classroom in a Book for your edition. I'm pretty much a light user and haven't delved into it too far, but it's helped me on a few occasions.
