1. All very good shots....

.....but the first one is really terrific. Looks to be the quintessential New York City street scene. All that's needed is a quick downpour to give the streets that certain special wet look we've seen in countless murder mysteries.

3. Philadelphia; not much different from NYC, though. Unfortunately (or fortunately)

most of my night shots were taken after enjoying a nice meal, accompanied by a couple of excellent libations (in this case, a pot of Belgian mussels and a couple of high octane Belgian ales) :



Even the monopod didn't help... :beer: :crazy:

It's the thought that counts. ;) I'm still using the nasty little Olympus loaner. Not a good camera at all, but what the hey, it's free and works in good sunlight.

Hands: I'm at the stage of discussing surgery to correct the (non)extension problem in my left hand. I'm not sure I can deal with the 6-8 weeks downtime in a cast, not to mention more rehab after that.

Unfortunately stem cell nerve regeneration (the real solution, I feel) is still in the rodent testing stage.
