1. Words fail me.
I don't see the difference, really, except maybe in the window glass on the buildings on the right.
This is just simply gorgeous. It looks so damn cold, and yet warm at the same time.

Is it snowing again?

Just 45 a bit windy and rainy. Did no one tell the weather folk that its March in South Carolina.

3. I see increasing vitriol about HDR on different photo forums
but I still generally enjoy it. Really the only way to judge this one would be to see the component exposures that went into it. Your environs have an enviably otherworldly quality to them to begin with. This image is really potent. I'm just curious how it might compare to the scene as captured in a single frame. I've experimented with HDR and got nothing I liked, but I see work like this and keep being attracted to more playing around. Never had any result anywhere near as good as this.
