1. I could not tell you a favorite.
Each of them is a total treat. They are works of art, just like the subjects they depict.

You, Alfredo, are increasingly posting great stuff that speaks to me.

Your photos look like Tekisui came to visit and he brought along a wagon load of .... and then you guys turned on the color together.

(I miss his photos, this rocking work of yours reminds me of that I miss it)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/tekisui/ He's better than I'd ever be.

What happened with him.

7. He is very very busy all over the DU Board keeping a necessary eye on the war
in Afghanistan, and if you go to his journal you will see what I mean.

May I ask you, (again), what camera you use? I used to think that all I wanted for Christmas is George Bush in jail....

They are just phenomenal pictures.

is a point and shoot: a Canon G10

I wanted the Lumix LX 3, but it was nowhere to be found. It uses Leica branded lenses, but lacked a good telephoto.

Also check out the Canon S90. It's more pocketable than the G10 and has better low light results.

I do a lot of research at amazon, cnet and dpreview. http://www.dpreview.com/

My galleries there:

15. Good. I finally joined the site so I can take part. I see that
our contest rules are very close to the rules on dpreview.

two with the same name?
I never looked at a profile because I thought I "knew" him, and responded a few times to him, too, with more familiarity than he expected, I bet.

Thanks for cluing me in.

edited to ask:

"weed"?

3. Definitely warm and sunny
The colours in these pictures are distinctly summery. Ok, it probably doesn't feel that warm yet but the pictures convey that sense.

5. The reflection from the wall created a nice micro climate. Warm!
This is the coolest coffee shop in town. The owner is an artist, and hell raiser. http://www.thirdstreetstuff.com/

The owner is bottom right.
From their gallery

Hendricks (to the right) is their resident sex symbol. Good guy.

Nashville people, I believe Pangea used to, or still does buy stuff from this coffee/gift shop.
http://www.pangaeanashville.com/ It's across from the Pancake Pantry.
