Faithful Companion
Edited on Mon Mar-15-10 06:03 PM by Xipe Totec
This monkey has been with us for a long time; a very long time.

Longer than our children who are in their 20's.

It has traveled with us from Houston, where the weather permitted it to sport a full coat of ivy, to these northern climes, where the shade of neighboring trees have denuded him of his ivy covering, and the squirrels have stolen most of his moss. Leaving the nylon webbed exterior you see today.

Our neighbor's decaying garage roof makes a perfect frame for our faithful friend and companion; The monkey who reminds us whence we came.

1. Quite fascinating. It's hard to see the monkey face, and there is a bright
spot in the head that looks like an eye and makes my mind see some sort of alien head.

2. There's a reason why the face is hard to see

The face has been taken away by squirrels.

4. I bet that looks really cool
when it's covered in ivy. It's really amazing it's lasted as long as it has. :)
