The first few shots taken from from the South Rim trail. You can see across the Rio Grande Valley deep into Mexico.

The next set are of the Rio Grande. The first four were taken in the Santa Elena Canyon area. The fourth image was apparently of some Americans messing around on the Mexican side. The last image was taken in the opposite side of the park.











A few years ago we were able to cross here and have and have a cold beer in the village.

The last few were taken while off trail backpacking in the Mule Ears area.

1. When I see this I am clearly reminded why the West calls me back!

I'm so glad you posted these. The aerial shots are a great lead-in, and the Rio Grande ones are very beautiful. The third one so imposing and the last two simply wonderful in color and presence.
