1. I like #2 better.
(And the vertical more than the horizontal.)

The background of #1 seems a bit too busy/cluttered. An aperture closer to f/4 instead of f/11 might help blur some of that out.

4. That's a good point.
I couldn't remember what f stop I had but 11 sounds likely; the sun was incredibly bright that afternoon.

Because the flower (buds?) are lighter, a bit fatter, and not one right behind the other. I also like the angle.

I agree with Celebration too. The parallel and centred arrangement of the others doesn't appeal to me.

because the exposure is very good and the diagonal give it more space and dynamic. Last one is my second pic but wish it were a bit lighter. Love the first one though.
