It's amazing what the moose eat. They're really bad about stripping bark off the willows and alders. .

Moose are such goofy looking critters but I cant' help thinking they're cute. They're the ugly ducklings of the ungulate world.

I couldn't see whether it was male or female, but it seemed quite young and not yet scarred up. Some of the older moose look a little ragged, but this one gleamed in the sun. I loved all the shades of golden brown.
