except for polaroids of family stuff

I bring you, from 1974 or so, an award-winning photograph (I just can't remember what contest it was}

daisies and wood



why did it win? I still have no idea

The way the daisies are standing, around the old fence post...

The depth of field...

5. I can tell you why it would have appealed to me
the winning, natural, whimiscal and lasting beauty of daisy (nature) and the failure if wood that had been treated to turn it into something unnatural (reshaping nature). Nature will always win. I love this picture.
